At the moment, Flashkit is the number one google site for the search "free flash stuff". I have to say, it's a fantastic site, I've been visiting that site regularly for years. It's an amazing resource for flash or actionscript tutorials, sound effects for your animation and loads more.

The second result on google offers "Free website templates, buttons, flash and logos". I downloaded a template, there's no flash source file, just a bunch of swf's and customisable text in some html files - the example I downloaded didn't even have the text aligned correctly. If you want the header customised you can email the creator. Good luck to her I say, I hope she's making money. I wasn't too impressed with Google result number 3 either, the site is quite ugly, and the free stuff they offer is not what a professional business needs. A lot of people are looking for free flash that they can customise themselves, but usually when people offer free flash stuff, they're offering you a free trial of some kind of software that you can download, whether it be for building a flash website, or creating a flash intro or banner. Of course you'd need to actually buy the flash-making software if you wanted to design something decent. It's just annoying when you see a blog post about free flash stuff, which takes you to this flash component site which obviously isn't free!

There are lots of free flash games that you can play online, some will even let you download the game files for free so that you can put the flash game on your own website, and some of the games are quite fun to play!
